Dr Sicily Fiennes is an interdisciplinary conservation scientist working at the intersection of political ecology and conservation social science. As part of their PhD at the University of Leeds they spent five months in Indonesia, visiting wildlife markets and leading workshops with conservation law enforcement on the social, technological, and ecological dimensions of Asian songbird trade.
