Dr Shari Mang is an ecologist interested in the impacts of anthropogenic activity on species and ecosystems and ways to improve human-wildlife coexistence. She has a background in community ecology, forestry, and remote sensing and has worked on projects across the Asia-Pacific, Indonesia, and the UK. Shari‘s work with RENEW focuses on ways to improve biodiversity in and equality of access to urban green space, as well as exploring creative ways to understand peoples’ connection with urban biodiversity through mediums such as poetry.
