A biologist by training and at heart, Peter has spent his career addressing sustainability challenges across the private, public and NGO sectors. Most recently he was Ambassador for Biodiversity, Chief Operating Officer and Vice-President of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) based in Geneva, and before that Director for Global Sustainability at Procter & Gamble, the world’s largest consumer goods company. As part of the RENEW project, his interest is in identifying and overcoming the hurdles preventing businesses and other organisations from taking nature into account in decision-making.
