Oliver James is a political scientist conducting research on citizens’ participation in nature policy and programmes, and government accountability for nature. He is collaborating with Natural England about the local governance of nature and is currently researching citizens’ attitudes to taxation and the environment as part of a project on ‘Fiscal Citizenship’
