Carolyn is an interdisciplinary social scientist working on environmental issues. She is currently working on Theme 3 interviewing farmers/land managers about their engagement with the environment and biodiversity. This builds on current work on the Local Nature Recovery Strategy and previous research interviewing farmers in Higher Level Stewardship schemes in Devon, as well as research on family farming and gender issues (Brazil). She has also recently worked on interdisciplinary collaboration as part of RENEW. Her current research interests focus on biodiversity, climate change adaptation, environmental governance and environment-health and wellbeing links. She previously worked on EU-funded projects on climate adaptation including REGREEN and on PACCo, working for a local land management organisation.
